Hannan Hussain is a Research Officer at the Institute of Regional
Studies, focused on West Asia. He holds a Masters in Public Policy from the University of
Maryland, and a Bachelors Hons. in Public Administration from the National University of
Sciences and Technology (NUST).
His areas of interest include inter-state diplomacy in West Asia, conflict resolution and
peace-building.
Hussain’s current responsibilities include conducting research on pressing security and
economic issues in West Asia and timely events to inform public discourse.
